If You’ve Ever Tried To “Figure It Out”… You Know Why This Matters

_____________

Here’s what I’ve seen after 10+ years and 1,400+ conversations with women who want a bake-from-home business:

Most don’t get stuck because they can’t bake.

They get stuck because starting from scratch comes with a hundred tiny decisions that somehow all feel urgent:

  • What do I sell first?

  • How do I price it?

  • What packaging do I use?

  • What do my labels need to say?

  • How do I get council/health department approval without getting stuck in red tape and BS?

  • Where do I find customers?

  • What do I say to retailers?

  • What if someone complains?

And when everything feels important… it’s really easy to freeze.

The whole point of Primal Alternative is: we’ve already done the hard parts.
So you can spend your energy on the bits that actually create income — baking and selling.

So here's where this all started...

_____________

Hi, I’m Helen (but you can call me 'H') — founder of Primal Alternative (est. 2014).

For most of my life I tried really hard to be “healthy”… in the way we were all taught. Low fat, high carb, lots of gym, lots of willpower. I was even a personal trainer, so I preached it too.

Then in my late 30s, my health fell in a heap.

I’m talking constant nausea (like morning sickness all day), headaches, broken sleep, exhaustion, bloating, constipation, heartburn, aches and pains… plus the mental side of it — anxiety, low mood, overwhelm, and that awful feeling of “is this just my life now?”

Doctors ran tests. Nothing “wrong.” Maybe IBS. No real solution.

In a desperate moment I blurted out, “I should just go gluten-free.” So I did. And a friend said, “Try Paleo.”

I thought it sounded ridiculous… and then I tried it because I had nothing left to lose.

Within weeks I felt noticeably better. The nausea eased. I slept. My body stopped screaming at me. I felt like me again.

So I trained as a Primal Health Coach, because I wanted other women to know: you’re not broken, and you’re not imagining it.

But here’s what kept coming up over and over…

Women would feel amazing eating this way… and then fall off the wagon on weekends.

Not because they “lacked discipline.”

Because they missed normal life food. Bread. Pizza night. Cookies with a cuppa. The easy stuff you grab when you’re tired.

And the gluten-free options in shops? Either full of fillers, long shelf-life ingredients, or they just didn’t feel good to eat.

So I started creating what I wished existed: grain-free “bread-y” foods and treats that actually tasted good, felt good, and made this way of eating doable long-term.

That became

Primal Alternative

The feedback was wild — people told me the products were life-changing because they could stay on track without feeling deprived. They could have pizza night and still feel good after. They could grab something convenient and not regret it.

And for me personally… it meant I could earn real income in a way that fit around family life, without having to choose between finances and being present.

After about 18 months of running the business myself — markets, stockists, packaging, pricing, compliance, all of it — I had this strong nudge:

There are so many women like me who would love to do this… but they don’t want to build the whole thing from scratch.

So I turned the model into the Primalista Licence — a licensed bake-from-home business where the products, systems, training, pricing, marketing assets and support are already done.

You still do the work, of course. You still bake. You still show up.

But you don’t have to reinvent the wheel, second-guess every decision, or figure it all out alone.

If you’ve been looking for something that feels practical, meaningful, and genuinely doable — you’re exactly who I built this for.

I am so glad you are here!

If you want to peek into my kitchen and the Primal Alternative story from the beginning, check out the short video below [2.17min].

Love, H xx

Why Grain-Free (Naturally Gluten-Free) Sells

_____________

People still want bread-y things.

They just don’t want the heavy flour-and-sugar crash (or the bloat) afterwards.

Primal Alternative products are not made with made with wheat or grain flours. We use nourishing ingredients like free-range eggs, nuts, seeds, vegetables and healthy fats to create better versions of the comfort foods people already love — loaves, bagels, wraps, pizzas, cookies, pastry, brownies and granola.

And this isn’t some fringe wellness niche anymore.

In Australia, almost three-quarters of people (73%) say they actively put effort into maintaining a healthy diet — and nutrition is one of the top things they care about when choosing what to buy. FSANZ (2023)

In the USA, the “better-for-you snacks” market alone is projected to grow from about US$13 billion in 2024 to nearly US$20 billion by 2030 — which tells you this demand for healthier comfort food is real and rising. Grand View Research (2024–2030)

Even mainstream nutrition guidance has shifted.

The January 2026 U.S. Dietary Guidelines (2025–2030) put “real food” back at the centre — prioritising protein, dairy, vegetables, fruit, healthy fats and whole grains, and calling for a significant reduction in highly processed foods and refined carbohydrates. USDA/HHS (2025–2030)

So this isn’t radical.
It’s simply aligned with where food culture is heading.

You’re not trying to be the next sourdough-and-cupcakes bake lady.

You’re offering people a solid outsource option:
the foods they love — made locally — with ingredients they actually feel good about

You’re serving the “finally, I can eat this” customer — and those customers become loyal, repeat buyers.

“I love watching people’s faces light up and they say, ‘Oh my goodness, I can eat everything here!’” Primalista Neroli

You’re not selling a fad.

Okay… But Is This Actually Proven?

_____________

Yes. And that matters.

Primal Alternative has already helped 360+ women across Australia, the USA, the UK and NZ build bake-from-home businesses using this model.

And the results are often fast:

“Everything else is going well - I have my ABN (EIN), business registration and just have to take out the insurance … even the baking is going well and everything has tasted great so far … even the fussy 18-year old said ‘not bad’ to the zucchini loaf - high praise indeed !!!” Primalista Judi

“Congratulations and well done on such a mammoth effort. If it weren’t for you and the fairest business opportunity I’ve ever seen, then I wouldn’t be finally heading down the path I’ve wanted to for so long.” Primalista Cheryl

Here's What You'll Get As A Primalista

Step-By-Step Training To Get You Open For Business

Open for Business → Get Equipped → Making Sales, with a clear start-to-launch path so you always know what to do next.

Simple Recipes And How-To Videos

Measure, mix, bake. No artisan skills required — ingredients are streamlined and 97% say the recipes are easy and doable.
You’ll get 18 core “ready-to-bake” recipes (including loaves and bagels, plus cookies, pizza bases, wraps, granola, pastry and seasonal favourites like Hot Cross Buns and Mince Pies) plus 15 packet mix recipes.

Proven Selling Systems (So You Get Paid)

Markets, retail/stockists, and pre-orders — with scripts and templates so you’re not guessing what to say or how to sell.
Plus a full marketing library: professional product photos, brochures, testimonials, flyers, business cards, and market signage/banners so you can look legit from day one.

Food Safety Program And Health Dept Support

A comprehensive food safety program plus practical guidance to help you get your home kitchen approved and stay compliant without stress. Primal Alternative products are ‘low risk’ and ‘not potentially hazardous’ and safe to be made from a home kitchen.

FSANZ/FDA-Ready Labels And Barcodes

You don’t have to guess what’s compliant. We give you label templates with the key stuff done properly — nutrition info (macros + energy), ingredients, and barcodes — so your products are retail-ready if you choose to sell in shops. It also means customers can scan macros into trackers. In short: you can do this like a grown-up business, not a hobby.

Supplier Shortcuts (No Ringing Around)

We’ll point you to the best places to buy ingredients and packaging so you can get set up faster and protect your margins.

A Full Product Range People Already Want

Grain-free loaves, pizzas, wraps, pastries, granola, cookies, mixes and more — designed to be repeat-purchase staples, not “one-off novelty bakes”.

A Supportive, Non-Competitive Community

This is the bit that makes it sustainable. You’re building your own business — but you’re not doing it alone.

(And yes, the vibe matters: 97% say the recipes are easy and the process is doable — and the community is a huge part of why women actually follow through.)

"I was looking for something to replace my dwindling main job.  I’m very efficient with my time and baking now, easy peasy. I've made some great Primalista sista friends. The Licence is very flexible you can bake what  you want.”

Primalista Terri

"I knew I wanted to do something food related, but was not quite sure what or how as I had no experience in that industry. Until….one day I came across a post in my Instagram feed about the Primal Alternative business opportunity. It just felt right and I contacted Helen from PA immediately, and had my interview sitting in my car in a carpark! With support from my family, I signed up, and I feel it’s the best decision I have ever made.”

Primalista Gita

"I was interested in the Primalista Licence as it offered me the flexibility of working from home and utilising my baking skills. I was surprised at how quick the cashflow was. People stop me in the street or supermarket asking for the products and placing orders. It’s so great, and can work for anyone. It’s cruisey, but fluent and productive. The support is phenomenal. It’s so easy to love what you do when it works for you.”

“Do I Need Fancy Baking Skills?”

_____________

No.

Our recipes are simple: measure, mix, bake.

Faff-free!

Grain-free baking is different to sourdough-style baking — there’s no kneading, proving or waiting around for dough to rise. So you don’t need artisan baking skills.

In fact, 96% of Primalistas say the recipes are easy. They need to be — that’s how this model stays doable and replicable in a normal home kitchen.

Honestly, the slowest part is usually weighing the ingredients. Most recipes are basically: chuck it all in, mix for a minute, pour into tins, bake.

Primalista Kat, in this pic, is pouring our Turmeric & Hemp Loaf (paleo, dairy-free, egg-free) into tins here. Most recipes make 2+ products per batch, so in a focused 4–5 hour bake session, one person can turn out a seriously good amount of stock.

The ingredients are streamlined, the steps are straightforward, and you get how-to videos from me in my kitchen showing you how to make and package everything — so you’re not second-guessing each step.

One of the best parts of starting as a Primalista is you don’t have to prove yourself from scratch.

_____________

Alexx Stuart, founder of Low Tox Life, explains why she trusts and recommends Primal Alternative. Starting under an already-trusted brand makes everything easier from day one.

Is This Even Legal?

_____________

Short answer: yes.

This model is operational in Australia, the United States, the UK and New Zealand. I’ve been helping women get home kitchens approved for over a decade — and my own kitchen is approved too.

The reason it works from home is simple: what we make is low risk (not potentially hazardous). No risky, high-temperature-control foods. No commercial refits required.

And this is where the Primalista Licence makes all the difference.

Our Food Safety Program

Inside the Licence, you get our comprehensive Food Safety Program — built with environmental health officers and food technicians.

It shows inspectors exactly what they need to see:

  • what you’re making (and why it’s low risk)

  • how ingredients are stored

  • safe handling processes

  • packaging + labelling (FSANZ + FDA compliant)

  • scientific evidence and lab testing confirming low-risk production

This one document can save you weeks of being bounced around the phone, getting conflicting answers, and drowning in red tape.

I’ve even had Environmental Health Officers tell me directly how thorough and professional it is.

Don’t Fear The Health Department

Health departments aren’t out to “catch you out”. They just want food sold to the public to be made safely — which is exactly what you want too.

Once you know what they’re looking for, it’s far less scary.

Australia: What To Expect

In Australia, it’s usually a simple three-step process:

  1. Planning permission
They’re checking you won’t create noise or traffic. You won’t.

  2. Health department approval
They want proof your products are low risk and safe for a home kitchen. This is where the Food Safety Program makes it easy.

  3. Inspection
An Environmental Health Officer visits your kitchen.

They’re typically checking four things:

  • no signs of pests

  • wipeable surfaces

  • business ingredients stored separately (a separate shelf or stackable tubs work perfectly)

  • pets and young kids kept out of the kitchen while baking

You don’t need stainless steel benches.
You don’t need a second kitchen.
And you do not need to rehome your pets.

Approval is typically around 30 days and roughly AU$400–$600, depending on your council. Some councils also require a short food safety course (often online).

USA: Cottage Food Laws

In the U.S., most states allow home baking through Cottage Food Laws — rules designed to let you sell low-risk, shelf-stable foods from home.

Usually that means:

  • a food handler certificate (often 1–2 hours online)

  • a short registration form

  • sometimes an inspection (some states don’t require one for direct-to-consumer)

  • proper ingredient labelling

Cost is commonly US$100–$400, depending on your state, and approval often takes 1–4 weeks.

And again — our Food Safety Program makes this smoother because you’re not starting from a blank page.

UK + New Zealand

Same thing! You register with your local authority, follow basic food safety requirements, and complete an inspection process.

Quick Reality Check

Yes — compliance is a real part of running a legit food business. It’s not a “get rich quick” scheme, and it does involve real work on your feet in the kitchen.

But getting approved is one of the best things you’ll do. It gives you confidence, credibility, and makes selling easier — because you know you’re doing it properly.

“How Do I Actually Get Customers?”

_____________

This is where a lot of DIY models fall apart — because recipes are only half the story.

Inside Primal Alternative you get three proven selling systems, with scripts and templates so you’re not making it up:

Markets

How to set up a stall that looks legit, what to say, what to bring, and how to turn browsers into repeat customers.

Retail / Stockists

Exactly how to approach stockists, what to say, what to send, and how to make it easy for a shop to say yes.

Pre-Orders / Direct-To-Customer

A simple rhythm that creates consistent income without baking “all the time”.

Real-life example from Primalista Emily (6 years in):
“I advertised in my local buy swap sell page on Facebook and got a massive response from everyone wanting to place orders."

All The Marketing Stuff Is Already Done, Too

This is the bit that saves so much time.

_____________

Let me say the quiet part out loud:

Most women don’t get stuck because they can’t bake.

They get stuck because starting a bake-from-home business asks you to create a whole brand and marketing machine around the baking… from scratch.

And that’s where the energy leaks out.

Because suddenly it’s:
“What do I post?”
“What do I say to people?”
“How do I price this?”
“How do I make it look legit?”
“How do I approach a shop without feeling awkward?”
“How do I get orders without begging?”

It’s exhausting. And it’s usually the reason people stall out before they even begin.

So we don’t just give you recipes.

We give you the practical assets and the marketing know-how that makes getting customers way easier — without you having to become an influencer, a designer, or a salesy weirdo.

500+ Professional Product Photos

So you can look legit from day one — without spending weeks trying to get decent pics on your phone or waiting until “everything’s perfect” before you post.

You can literally start by saying “Coming soon…” and you’ve got stunning images ready to go.

Customer + Stockist Brochures

These are the kind of things people don’t realise they need until they’re standing at a market or talking to a shop owner and getting peppered with questions.

So we give you brochures that introduce the range and answer the common questions:
ingredients, shelf life, carb content, gluten-free, “is this dairy free?”, “is it low carb?”, “what’s it sweetened with?”, all of it.

You don’t have to explain it all from scratch every time.

Scripts + Templates (So You Always Know What To Say)

This is such a relief when you’re starting.

Because you’ll have:

  • social captions and post ideas

  • follow-up messages that don’t feel pushy

  • retail approach scripts (what to say and what to send)

  • market conversations (so you’re not standing there like 😬)

  • answers to price objections and awkward questions

So you’re not sitting there thinking “ugh what do I say?” every single time.

Market Signage + Stall Assets

If you want to do markets, this is the stuff that makes you look like a real business instantly.

Artwork is designed — you add your name and print.

So your stall doesn’t look like a hobby table. It looks established, tidy, and trustworthy.

Brand Assets + On-Brand Words

Logos, product names, descriptions, fonts, colours — the whole “brand look” is already done.

So everything you put out feels consistent and professional… even if you’re not “good at marketing”.

And the best bit?

A Full Pick-And-Choose Marketing Library

You don’t have to do everything. You just pick what suits your personality and lifestyle.

This is where you get a stack of strategies you can dip in and out of depending on what season you’re in.

Things like:

  • how to set up your socials simply (without trying to post 24/7)

  • the Free Sample strategy (it works because it’s warm + human)

  • flyers/posters so locals know there is a real food baker in town

  • collaborations with aligned local businesses (naturopaths, gyms, wellness clinics, cafés)

  • influencer marketing (with people in your community who also have a warm customer base, ready to meet you)

  • live events, pop-ups, and local community opportunities

  • loyalty strategies so customers come back

  • seasonal drops (so you’re not reinventing the wheel every month)

  • bundles + add-ons to lift your average order (boxes, bundles, “add this for $x”)

  • subscription-style boxes (if you want predictable rhythm)

  • wholefoods as an extra profit stream (on selling your ingredients co-op style, if it suits you)

Website + Online Store Training (If You Want One)

We show you what’s actually necessary (and avoid all the unnecessary work) if you do want a website or online store, we walk you through how to set it up simply — including online ordering basics — without turning into exxy tech hell.

Lead Magnets + Email List Training

Because relying only on socials is stressful.

We show you how to build a local list using simple lead magnets (like free recipe eBooks), so you’ve always got a warm audience to sell to — not just whoever Instagram feels like showing your post to that day.

Meta Ads Training (Optional, But It’s There)

If you want a way to get orders even when you’re not online, we’ll show you how to run a simple Facebook/Instagram promotion that points locals straight to your shop — a bit like a small sign in the digital town square.

Bottom line:

You’re not starting with a blank page.

You’re starting with the photos, the words, the systems, the assets, and a whole menu of marketing options — so you can get customers in a way that feels like you.

Next up I want to show you what it's like to have a Primalista market stall and supply local business in our videos below...

BECOME A PRIMALISTA

Got questions? Book a chat here.

Okay, so here's what's inside the
 Primalista Training

The Primalista training is on-demand, so you can do it at home, in your own time. Watch, listen or read — whatever suits you — and simply start at Module 1, Lesson 1 and follow the steps in order.
To keep it simple (and reduce overwhelm), lessons are released weekly as you go. Don’t worry if you’re not “techy” — if you can watch a video, you’ll be fine.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS

In this module, we’ll get the necessary-but-boring setup stuff out of the way so you can get to the exciting bit (baking) quicker.

We’ll sort your business basics (ABN/EIN), point you through kitchen approvals and insurance, and help you get your head around those “terrexcitified” feelings that pop up when you’re about to do something new.

You’ll be set up properly under the registered Primal Alternative brand, with trademarked packaging, your own @primalalternative.com email address, and we’ll order your personalised Primal Alternative apron (fair-trade + organic) so you feel legit from day one.

You’ll also bake a couple of starter recipes, get clear on who the Primal Alternative customer actually is, and you’ll have access to our professional product photos (you could even post a few and say: “Coming soon!”).

And once you’re officially open for business, we’ll list you on the Primalista Directory on the Primal Alternative website so locals can find you and place orders — and we’ll launch your business on the Primal Alternative social media too.

GET EQUIPPED

This is where we make your business feel real — without you buying a bunch of stuff you don’t need. I'm all for a lean start up!

Over these two weeks you’ll decide what you’re going to offer first from the Primal Alternative range (we’ll help you choose a sensible starter menu), then we’ll guide you through the practical setup: equipment that’s actually worth it, packaging that is professional, what ingredients to order first, and how to set your kitchen up so bake days run smoothly.

You’ll also get access to our Profit + Ingredients Calculator, so you can plug in your local costs (if you want to), know your margins, and know exactly how much of everything you need to fulfil orders — so you’re not guessing, overbuying, or lying awake wondering if you’ve got enough almond meal.

MAKING SALES

You’ll learn where to sell your products and how to make sales while still being you. Nothing pushy, nothing cringe.

We’ll walk you through the three proven selling systemsMarkets, Retail/Stockists, and Pre-Orders — so you can pick the one that suits your life best as your starting point.

If you want to approach stockists, you’ll get the scripts and the simple “how to” for having the conversation, plus access to our Target Stockist Spreadsheet so Primalistas can see who’s been approached already (it keeps things respectful and avoids stepping on toes).

You’ll also receive your Customer and Stockist Brochures, learn the basics of invoicing so you get paid properly — and be part of our exclusive collaborations with Quirky Cooking and Low Tox Life. We were approached by both brands to be the sole producer of their grain-free products, and that credibility flows straight to you as a Primalista. If you’re already a Quirky or Low Tox fan, this part will feel extra exciting.

And when you’re ready to lift your average order, you’ll learn how to sell Boxes and Bundles, and how to set up an amazing-looking market stall that makes people stop, try, and buy.

RECIPES

This is where you’ll find the full Primal Alternative trade-secret recipe library — loaves, bagels, pizza bases and wraps, cookies, granola, gellies, seasonal favourites, packet mixes and more.

Everything is laid out clearly so you’re not spending months recipe testing or wondering what to bake next.

There’s also a Wholefoods lesson where I’ll show you how to on-sell ingredients and make healthy bulk food available in your area (if you want that extra income stream).

MONEY & ADMIN

This is a short module with two lessons that can genuinely change how you run your business (and your life), because it stops the “I’m busy but where’s the money?” feeling.

First, you’ll get a Profit First masterclass made specifically for Primalistas, taught by a Profit First professional. It shows you how to pay yourself first, put money aside for tax and running costs, and keep things clean and simple so you’re not guessing.

Then we make it practical with “Know Your Numbers” — how to manage your income so you can build a cash safety net, save, and create an investing pot over time. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about feeling in control.

“The money I make from Primal Alternative is my money to do what I want. It’s paid for our annual Christmas getaway, retreats, and even topped up my crypto and share portfolio. I wouldn’t have done that in another job — this gives me lifestyle and growth.”
Primalista Manda

SUPPORT

This is the module that helps you feel calm and covered.

If you’ve ever been put off starting a food business because you worry about “what if something goes wrong?” — this is exactly why this exists.

You’ll find simple, step-by-step processes for things like customer questions or complaints, batch records, the very rare recall scenario, tech hiccups, and what to do if you need to pause for a while.

So instead of spiralling, you’ll just have a process to follow — and support if you need it.

How much could you earn
as a Primalista?

_____________

With this model, you can expect to earn somewhere around AU$1,500 to AU$5,000 (~US$1,000 to ~US$3,000) profit per month, depending on how often you bake and how you choose to sell (markets, stockists, pre-orders).

So what would you actually need to bake each week to make that kind of money? Here’s a rough guide.

Australia (AUD)

~5 hours/week~AU$250 profit/week (about 30 products)
~10 hours/week~AU$500 profit/week (about 60 products)
~15 hours/week~AU$750 profit/week (about 90 products)
~20 hours/week~AU$1,000 profit/week (about 120 products)
~25 hours/week~AU$1,250 profit/week (about 150 products)

USA (USD)

~4 hours/week~US$150 profit/week (~23 products)
~9 hours/week~US$350 profit/week (~54 products)
~13 hours/week~US$500 profit/week (~77 products)
~17 hours/week~US$650 profit/week (~100 products)
~22 hours/week~US$850 profit/week (~130 products)

That’s based on an average profit per product of around AU$8 / US$6.50 (with a mix of retail + wholesale) and the fact you’re batch baking at roughly 6 products per hour in a home kitchen — so it’s not “one product at a time” energy.

These examples are gross profit from baking — they include your ingredients + packaging, but they don’t include things like electricity, delivery, admin or marketing, because those bits look different for everyone. And that’s the beauty of this business: it’s flexible. You choose how you run it, what you take on, and how many hours you want to do.

During the training, we’ll help you set up simple systems so your energy goes where it counts — on the things that actually grow your business.

Important note: this isn’t a get-rich-quick thing. It’s real work — you’ll be on your feet in the kitchen for a few hours a week — and your results depend on finding and serving customers in your area. We’ll give you the recipes, pricing, selling systems, scripts and support… but we don’t make earnings guarantees.

So, what’s The Investment?

_____________

If you’ve made it this far, you’re probably thinking:
“Okay… sounds fab! What does it cost to start?”

This isn’t a course. It’s a proper business licence.
You’re getting access to a trademarked brand, a proven product range, pricing tools, marketing assets, selling systems, training, and support so you’re not building the whole thing from scratch.

The simplest way to start is the monthly licence membership:
AU$350 per month (Australia) or US$250 per month (USA). Full access straight away.

And here’s the part people love.
After 24 months, your membership drops to the loyalty rate of $130 per month. That becomes your ongoing rate for as long as you stay licensed.

Am I locked in?

No.

You can terminate your licence any time by emailing us with 7 days’ notice.

If you ever do stop, you simply lose access to the things you’re licensed to use, like the brand, platform, systems, and templates. You can still keep the recipes for personal baking at home.

The “Nothing To Lose” Bit

You’ve got a 7-day cooling-off period. Jump in, start Module 1, try a few recipes, introduce yourself in the group, and see if it feels like a fit. If you change your mind in the first 7 days, you’ll get a full refund.

After that, you can still hang up your apron any time. You’re not trapped.

And honestly, my bet is you won’t want to. Once you start getting set up, choosing your starter menu, and taking payments for your first few bakes, it stops being “an idea” and starts being your business (squee!)

Any other costs?

This is a low-overhead business. The main extras are kitchen approval (in Australia it’s often around $500 paid direct to your council), your first ingredients and packaging, and a couple of basics like loaf tins or pizza trays depending on what you start with.

Let me guide you through your first six weeks...

If you decide to become a Primalista, you’ll have the option to join the Six Weeks To Launch Live Round – a guided, small-group container where we walk through the new Primalista Licence 2.0 together and get you ready to launch your bake-from-home business.

Across six weeks we’ll cover:

  • Get Clear: your why, your goals and how this business can fit your real life.

  • Get Set Up: approvals, home-kitchen rules, food safety, business basics – made simple.

  • Bake Together: live bake-along using the “measure, mix, bake” method (including batching 12 loaves at once).

  • Get Equipped: tools, packaging and systems so bake days feel smooth and scalable.

  • Learn to Sell: gentle sales practice, pricing and real-world conversations with customers and stockists.

  • Launch: reflection, sharing wins and a clear plan to announce your business and take your first orders.

I’ll explain exactly how the Six Weeks To Launch Live Round works – and how it can help you get set up faster and with more confidence – inside the Info Session on Feb 2nd (or catch the replay here).

“I love Primal Alternative it’s so do-able! No more day dreaming of starting my own business because I’ve actually made it happen! And there’s no prouder feeling of seeing something fabulous, healthy & wholesome YOU’VE made on the supermarket shelves. This business actually changes lives."

Primalista Helen

Primalista Veronica

“I was keen to focus on my health and to find something creative where I get to connect with people. Since joining Primal Alternative I’ve had some great feedback and met some beautiful people, I’m eating better and focussing on my gut health journey. There’s a super helpful, supportive, and friendly community. It’s a brilliant biz model. I love it. I was on the fence for 4 years and can’t believe I didn’t start sooner!

“What If I’m Not Doing This Forever?

_____________

Honestly? Most women don’t start a bake-from-home business because they want to do it forever.

They do it for a reason. A season. Or sometimes, a lifetime.

Maybe it’s something flexible while the kids are at home.
Maybe it’s a runway into retirement.
Maybe it’s a passion project that balances out a job you’re over.
Maybe it’s a way to contribute to your community and feel like yourself again.

And yes — some women stay for years because it suits them perfectly. Emily’s six years in and has a rhythm she loves:

“I’ve just never worked in the school holidays, so I just basically have four 10 week baking blocks a year… That’s probably why I’m still here. I don’t get sick of it because I just have a break.”

Either way, you’re not trapped.

Hanging Up Your Apron Is Simple

If you ever want to stop, you can.
You give 7 days’ notice and you’re done.

If you hang up your apron, you’re ending the licence. You lose access to the platform and you can’t sell under Primal Alternative anymore — but you can still use the recipes at home for personal baking.

And I’m genuinely never sad when someone hangs up their apron — because I know what this tends to give women beyond income: confidence, skills, friendships, and that feeling of “I did it.”

“It has been an integral part of my journey… Definitely helped me to grow a lot 🙏🏻” Primalista Erika

And honestly, exited Primalistas say it best:

“I’ve done things I never thought I could ever do; I’ve learnt business skills and met some amazing people.”
Leonie | NSW

“It’s been a wild ride and I am grateful mostly for it showing me that I can run my own business but also that I can have a life outside of family life that is all mine. It got me back in the saddle so to speak.”
Tara | SA

If You Need A Break (Without Quitting)

Sometimes you don’t want to quit… you just need breathing space.

So we’ve built that in.

You can take up to 3 months with no monthly payments if life goes sideways.

And if you want to keep your spot in the network while you’re on pause, you can go on Extended Leave for $39/month — it keeps everything “on ice” so you can step back in when you’re ready.

Primalista Info Session Replay

Thinking of starting a bake-from-home business?

Watch this before you decide anything.

This isn’t a hypey webinar or a “get rich baking” pitch.

It’s an honest, behind‑the‑scenes look at how real women are building small, sustainable bake‑from‑home businesses— using real food recipes — in a way that actually fits real life.

In this replay, you’ll learn:

  • Why more people than ever are actively looking for real, nourishing food — and not finding it in the supermarket

  • How this shift has gone from alternative to mainstream (including a look at the new US food pyramid)

  • How to legally sell baked goods from home, step‑by‑step, without a commercial kitchen

  • How to choose a simple starter bake list (you don’t need to bake everything)

  • The three Primalista selling systems — from no‑tech to low‑tech — and how to choose what suits you

  • How to price for profit, so baking feels worthwhile

  • How to fit a bake‑from‑home business around the time you actually have

  • What’s included in the Primal Alternative range — and why customers keep coming back

  • Real stories and insights from experienced Primalistas who’ve done exactly this

You’ll also hear about the Six Weeks to Launch Live Round starting March 2nd, where new Primalistas are guided step‑by‑step to get set up, confident, and ready to take orders.

If you’ve been feeling that quiet nudge — wanting to eat better, work differently, and create something meaningful from home — this session will help you see what’s possible.
